SEND
At Nightingale Primary School the Governors strongly support a fully inclusive education, where special needs are appropriately supported and talents nurtured. We ensure all children are fully included in all school activities.
Ms Griffiths, our SENDCO, works closely with pupil’s parents and class teachers to help identify special educational needs and ensure appropriate support is put in place to ensure pupils maximise their full potential, academically, emotionally, socially and physically.
We create an environment that enables all children to flourish.
In addition to the support we offer our children at Nightingale, the school is also supported and advised by:
Specialist Education and Training Support Services (S.E.a.T.T.S). This service is a coordinated service that supports children and young people aged from 0 - 25 years across Redbridge. Guidance can be found here. The Department for Education publishes a Code of Practice on SEND, which is a guide for schools and councils on how to help children and young people with SEND
