Reading

Our Vision for Reading

Learning to read accurately, fluently and with understanding is key to developing our children as life-long learners; reading will open up a world of learning to them. In school they will experience a wide range of texts that inform them, entertain them and transport them to different times and places, sparking their curiosity and developing their compassion for others. Alongside learning core reading skills, we want our children to develop a love of books and reading that will last them a lifetime.
